Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum, or DAM, is one of the largest art museums between the West Coast and Chicago. It is dedicated to helping visitors experience art and creativity through hands-on activities, extensive art collections, and rotating, world-class exhibits. The Hamilton Building is an architectural work of art itself! General admission is free to all children 18 and under.

Colorado State Capitol

The golden-domed Colorado State Capitol is a prominent feature in Denver’s skyline. This neoclassical building features beautiful murals and stained-glass and is home to the Senate, House of Representatives, Colorado Governor and Lieutenant Governor, and the Department of Treasury. Free tours are available Monday through Friday.
