• Each guest room has an individual climate control with a motion sensor that determines if the room is occupied. 

• Air conditioning and lights are controlled by a building automated system and turned off when meeting rooms are not in use.

From a morning coffee to an afternoon snack to a box lunch En route to takeoff, Launch offers gourmet, grab-and-go options with café seating in The Royal Sonesta Houston's busy lobby. This boutique-style space offers sweet and savory treats, New Orleans-based PJ's Coffee, and specialty items from local vendors. 

Catering to discerning tastes and hectic schedules, Launch provides internationally inspired and locally sourced, fresh, and flavorful dining choices, including vegan and gluten-free alternatives. Menu highlights include pre-prepared, mix-and-match sandwich/wrap and side combinations plus salads, in addition to made-to-order paninis and smoothies. Patisserie selections range from breakfast Danishes and individual pastries to entire cakes by special request. 

With Launch, The Royal Sonesta proudly introduced PJ’s Coffee to Houston. A mainstay throughout New Orleans, where the company was founded and coffee was first welcomed in 1720, PJ’s Coffee prides itself on its Fair-Trade certification, sustainability focus, and use of 100% Arabica species beans selected from the top 1% of the eight-million tons of coffee harvested each year. Patrons have a choice of three brewing methods, including espresso, hot drip, and cold drip, as well as an assortment of high-grown teas. Launch also sells a variety of PJ’s Coffee k-cup varieties, which can be enjoyed in-room or on the road.
