  • Release meeting space you likely won’t need: optimize building use
  • Request decorative hard goods instead of fresh cut florals
  • Source décor/signage locally
  • Request recyclable material or signs made with FSC certified fibers instead of foam-board signs.
  • Reduce size of signs/ use less signage material overall
  • Ask that signage and/or décor be donated to charity after use
  • Add vegetarian/vegan items
  • Request local/seasonal produce and organic produce
  • Request sustainable seafood and organic meats
  • Serve from vertical gardens
  • Invite chefs to share food sources & sustainability details
  • Communicate food sources & sustainability details on menus
  • Request local or organic wines, beers or spirits
  • Request mainly reusable dishes & utensils (limit disposables)
  • Request water stations and provide attendees reusable bottles
  • Request that glasses not be pre-filled with water
  • Offer wellness activities, in nature or onsite
  • Support charities with onsite or offsite volunteer activities
  • Request that used expo items get donated to charity
