Sonesta is proud to invite your cuddly companions and provide special amenities like comfy pet beds, bowls, waterproof mats, and treats at check-in. We’ll greet your pet with an arrival letter outlining our local recommendations for a “pawsome” stay.  

Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island is pet friendly and welcomes well-mannered dogs up to 40 pounds each with no breed restrictions. Guests traveling with dogs will be assigned to the first floor, and up to two (2) dogs are permitted per accommodation.

Please note a pet fee of $100 per day is charged, up to a total of $300 per stay.

The Beach Pavillion 

The Pavilion at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island is an ideal venue for a beach wedding. With a capacity of 65 to 200+ guests, this 7,000 square-foot covered facility is nestled between lush grounds and the pristine South Carolina coastline, providing the perfect setting for both your ceremony and reception. Boasting beautiful views in all directions and a picturesque bridge over the lagoon, the Pavilion is a gorgeous location for wedding photos.

The Shipyard Beach Club 

Ideal for events with 35 to 100 guests, this premier facility offers both indoor and outdoor flexibility. Check-in is available from 4:00PM. There may be a fee for early check-in, depending on availability. Checkout time is 11:00AM, with the option of late check-out for an additional fee, pending availability. The minimum age to check in is 21.

4. Do your rooms have kitchenettes with microwaves?

Our rooms feature mini-refrigerators and coffee makers. Select rooms include kitchenettes with microwaves.

5. Do you offer a shuttle service from Savannah airport to Hilton Head Island?

We do not provide an airport shuttle service. However, we can assist you in finding and booking a convenient SAV airport ride to or from Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island.
