Meet The Team
Chris Bracken
Director of Sales and Marketing
Chris Bracken grew up in Wisconsin and is an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout to major in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Chris joined Marriott out of college and spent over 25 years with their organization. He has been with Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island since July, 2013 and is an active member of the Visitor & Convention Bureau Marketing Committee and Shipyard Plantation Marketing Committee.
Diane Hardy
Director of Catering
Diane has been the Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island since January 2016. She did her initial management training with Starwood in New York City, assisted with two resort openings in Tucson, AZ and then found her home on Hilton Head Island. Diane enjoys traveling, fine wines and any outdoor activities, especially water sports.
Theresa Anthony
Catering Manager
Theresa has over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and specifically over 20 years in the catering department. Some of her previous roles include Front Office Manager, Director of Catering/Convention Services, Sr. Catering Manager and Sr. Convention Service Manager. Theresa is currently the Catering Manager for large weddings at the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island.
Sam Tucker
Catering Manager
Sam has been working in the Wedding & Events industry since 2015. She began her career at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort and eventually made her way to the Midwest, where she worked as an Event Coordinator for Absolutely In! Events, a premier Wedding Planner in the St. Louis metro area. Still, Hilton Head Island was calling her name, and when the offer came, Sam jumped at the chance to return and work for Sonesta. Sam is now one of the resort’s Catering Sales Managers, specializing in intimate weddings and events.
