Butler Service

To assure that we can fully provide the outlined services below, please contact our butler a minimum of seven days prior to your arrival at butlerservice@oceanpoint.com.

Our resort butler service, available only in our highest category suites, provide our most discerning guests with the highest standard of service, where your every need is anticipated. Maximum service with minimum intrusion.

Exclusive perks for guests staying in a Butler Suite include upgraded WiFi and free parking* as well as the option to choose from a curated list of international and domestic fine wines for their personalized in-room wine fridge, which features three separate compartments to store every wine type at the perfect temperature. Butlers will contact guests prior to or upon arrival to confirm wine preferences and stock the fridge accordingly, with one bottle per day, up to 3 bottles per stay (minimum stay required)**. The Butler is on hand to restock the cellar with the guest’s selection or provide upgrade options.


  • Once you’ve contacted your butler, they will provide you with the list of wines in order to confirm your wine preferences, stock the fridge accordingly, and ensure preferences are in-suite upon arrival
  • Arrange optional private transfers from the airport


  • Provide you with all of the information you need regarding tours, spa services, and resort amenities
  • Anticipate and coordinate any special requests that you may have during your stay
  • Provide you with a private orientation of the property
  • Handle any laundry and pressing requests. One garment per person is complimentary pressed on the first night 
  • Provide you with a cell phone so you can keep in contact with your butler throughout your stay


  • Reserve optional tours, on-property activities, and spa treatments for you
  • Liaise with housekeeping for servicing the suite
  • Ensure that the suite is kept in perfect condition and arranged to your preferences
  • Expedite all room service orders
  • Arrange a perfect romantic dinner for two in the privacy of your suite or on your balcony • Shine and clean your shoes for dinner upon request
  • Collect and return all laundry and pressed garments


  • Bring amenities before dinner upon request
  • Ensure the suite is turned down and prepared for the evening
  • Follow up for any additional needs for a perfect evening


  • Arrange optional private transfers to the airport
  • Provide information regarding check-out
  • Retain all preferences for your next visit

*Free parking will need to be registered upon arrival or immediately upon car rental as access to parking garage is assigned to your room key/RFID wristbrand.

**Minimum stay of 5 days is required for the wine bottle service.

Please note that all beaches in Sint Maarten are public beaches. Sonesta Resorts Sint Maarten can not reserve lounge chairs, nor serve food and drinks on public beaches. The Palms Beach located at the adjacent Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa is an upper manmade beach area exclusive for guests staying at Sonesta Resorts. Access to Maho Beach is just a few steps next to The Palms: Beach Grill, Restaurant and Bar.
