Restaurant R’evolution Presents Veuve Clicquot’s ‘Chef de Cave’ At Inaugural Winemaker’s Dinner

On Friday evening October 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., Restaurant R’evolution will present their very first Winemaker’s Dinner featuring Chef de Cave Cyril Brun of Veuve Clicquot.  Restaurant R’evolution’s Wine Director Molly Wismeier explains, “this is an extremely rare opportunity to spend an intimate evening with Chef de Cave Brun who will only be visiting a limited number of American cities.   Dinner guests will have the chance to ask questions throughout the evening while experiencing some of  Veuve Clicquot’s most outstanding champagnes.”  

Award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto have carefully prepared an exquisite four-course menu designed to compliment each of the featured champagnes.  The evening will conclude with a dessert-duo created especially for the occasion by Restaurant R’evolution’s Executive Pasty Chef Erin Swanson.

Restaurant R’evolution opened to the public in June 2012.  The elegant 6,000 square-foot fine dining restaurant, which seats 200, is the first joint venture for Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto’s restaurant development company, Home on the Range.  Located in the French Quarter at 777 Bienville Street in the landmark Royal Sonesta Hotel New Orleans, Restaurant R’evolution’s cuisine is a modern and imaginative reinterpretation of classic Cajun and Creole styles.  The restaurant is a celebration of the cultural fusion of the food and flavor that has shaped the culinary landscape of New Orleans.
