Sales Department

Assistant Director of Sales MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • To meet and exceed annual “ plan “ • To be responsible for the overall management, training and development of the sales department GUEST RELATED DUTIES • Conduct sales calls, as indicated by the yearly marketing plan • Entertain clients and conduct site inspections • Prospect various new lead lists to expand account base • Participate in sales Trips • Participate in MOD program DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Meet monthly booking goals, as indicated by the yearly marketing plan • Conduct daily sales briefing • Execute additional projects, as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing • Prepare monthly activity reports for the Director of Sales & Marketing • Establish familiarization with competition • Assume director of Marketing responsibilities in his/ her absence • Signs and approves attendance • Train and develop sales managers • Provide timely review for sales managers with the Director of Marketing IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS • Sales staff & Banquet sales staff • Front office staff • Guest services staff • F & B staff • Department heads JOB REQUIREMENTS • 6-7 years of sales experience • 7- 9 years of hotel experience • Ability to manage others • Motivational skills • Selling skills
