Upon arrival, Mom will feel at ease with the relaxing sounds of live Jazz from the incomparable Don Vappie and his Creole Trio. The perfect backdrop to your perfect day. Each mother will be greeted with a complimentary red or white carnation, symbolic of the very first Mother’s Day celebration that took place in 1908. Perhaps a toast is in order with one of Bar R’evolution’s enticing libations, such as a Belle Époque with Evan Williams, Peach Ratafia, and Sparkling Wine, or a classic Mimosa with Sparkling Wine and Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. Santé! 
 
One glance at the main menu and you’ll be hard-pressed to choose from the array of sumptuous starters, such as the Crisp Sweetbreads with an Herbsaint Meniére and Forest Mushrooms, or the decadent Foie Gras Biscuit and Gravy with Tomato-Strawberry Jam and Duck Bacon.  There’s also Restaurant R’evolution’s Strawberry Pain Perdu with Mixed Berries and Whipped Cream, Beer-battered Crab Beignets presented with Four Rémoulades, Oysters on the Half Shell R’evolution Style with Cucumber Lemon Granita and Tangerine Salsa, and the Black Truffle Beef Tartare presented with Pickled Vegetables and Grilled Bread. Or, perhaps select a sampling of several appetizers to share with your loved ones at the table.
 
For refreshing salad selections, opt for the Roasted Baby Beets with Goat Cheese and Molasses-candied Pecans, House Salad with Crispy Vegetables with Haricot Vert, Cucumber and Torn Croutons, Cajun-friend Oyster Salad with Crisp Bacon and Blue Cheese Dressing, or a Raw Vegetable Salad with Artichokes, Asparagus, Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette, and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
 
Then warm up to your entrée selection with the signature Death by Gumbo which features Roasted Quail, Andouille, Oysters and Filé Rice or select Chefs’ Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup with Deviled Quail Eggs and Madeira.
 
Seafood lovers will appreciate several tempting selections, including the Sheep Ricotta Gnocchi with Lobster with Vanilla, Tarragon and Lobster Roe, or Crawfish-stuffed Flounder Napoleon with an Artichoke and Oyster Stew and Fried Crawfish Boulettes.
 
Hearty meat and game options offer carnivores the Four-bone Rack of Lamb, a 14-oz Milk-fed Veal Chop, or a Rotisserie Duck served with Field Pea Foie Gras Rice, Crispy Onions and Pea Tendrils, just to name a few of several offerings.
 
At R’evolution’s brunch, Eggs are prepared a la Crème and Scrambled with Crawfish, Smoked Paprika and Cajun Caviar, or Poached over Sugar-cured Ham, a Sweet Corn Biscuit and finished with a Sriracha Hollandaise for Breakfast R’evolution.  There’s also Duck Confit and Eggs, a Toasted Brioche, Poached Egg, Warm Potato Salad and Duck Bacon.
