PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING
6 P.M to 9 P.M.
The Holidays at Heritage event series will kick off with our annual Christmas parade taking place Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. along Second Street and Irving Boulevard in downtown Irving. This year's parade theme is “Rudolph, Light the Way!” Click here to view the parade route.
This annual Irving tradition will be followed by a tree lighting ceremony and inaugural Heritage Park event between 6-9 p.m. Enjoy photos with Santa, caricature art, an ice carver demonstration, crafts, live music, and food all while taking in the beautifully lit park. The tree lighting will take place at 8:30 p.m.
Heritage Park Event
- 6:15 p.m. Live performance from Two Far Gone
- 7:30 p.m. Santa arrives for photos (Catch him in the parade prior to photos!)
- 7:30 p.m. Live performance from the Jack Mason Band

Annual Centennial Holiday Lights
DEC. 4-26, DUSK TO 10 P.M. DAILY
Centennial Park, 444 W. Second St.
The free holiday lights display affords a leisurely stroll through one of the jewels of Irving’s Heritage District - Centennial Park. The park is decorated with 60,000 lights on the fences, trees and bridge, and walkways are lit on each side to keep pathways visible for visitors after dark. This holiday tradition is staffed 24/7, and portable restrooms are available onsite. Visitors can ask the on-duty city staff any questions they have about the decorations. Bike riding is not permitted through the display.
