Saturday
11:00 Embarkation in Luxor for a relaxing week sailing the Nile on a luxuriously appointed dahabiyya. 
13:30 After lunch, excursion to visit the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28th, Dynasty Luxor Temple.
  Overnight moored on the Nile banks of Luxor. 

 

Sunday
07:00 You will visit the West Bank for visits to the burial places of the Pharaohs - the Valley of the Kings - where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Continue to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, the temple of Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon.
  Sail on the way to ESNA. (noon time)
  Overnight nearby ESNA.

 

Monday
07:00 After breakfast, commence sailing to Edfu and arrive at 6:00pm
  Overnight moored beside a Nile island in Edfu.

 

Tuesday
08:00 Visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu.
  Overnight moored beside Maneeha island in Kim Ombo and dinner in the island.

 

Wednesday
08:00 Visit El Silsila (optional)
13:00 Visit Kom Ombo
  Overnight moored beside a Nile island in Aswan.

 

Thursday
10:30 A leisurely sailing to Aswan and moored nearby Aswan Bridge

 

Friday
  Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971); the Old Dam (completed in 1902). 
  You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. 

 

Saturday
  Breakfast aboard the dahabeya followed by disembarkation.
  • Itineraries may be changed without prior notice due to navigational circumstances, may be in sequences but not in visits

  • Sightseeing excursions are lead by English speaking guide.

07 Nights/08 Days - Aswan to Luxor - Each Saturday

Saturday
11:00 Embarkation in Aswan for a relaxing week sailing the Nile on a luxuriously appointed Dahabeya.
  Overnight, the ship moors on the Nile banks of Aswan.

 

Sunday
  Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971); the Old Dam (completed in 1902). 
  You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. 
13:30 Sail on the way to Kom Ombo.
  Overnight nearby Kom Ombo (in Baloula Island or Hardiab and dinner on the island).

 

Monday
07:30 Sail to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon headed Horus, god of the morning sun.
09:00 Visit Kom Ombo
13:00 Visit El Silsila (optional)
  Sail to Edfu and arrive at 6:30pm.
  Overnight moored beside a Nile island in Edfu (El Saraj Island

 

Tuesday
08:00 Visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu.
10:00 Sail to Esna
  Overnight moored beside an island in Edfu.

 

Wednesday
  Today will be a leisurely day.
  After breakfast, commence sailing to Esna and passing the lock, then dahabeya will moor in Luxor. (Arrives around 06:00pm)

 

Thursday
  This morning you will visit the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple
  Overnight moored in Luxor.

 

Friday
