Tropical Courtyard and Fleur de Lis Suite
For centuries, courtyards have been among the most important aspects of any French Quarter property, as the architecture of the neighborhood prevents traditional lawns and gardens. To compensate, property owners dedicated a special part of their homes to become their private oasis where they could show off their green thumbs. The Royal Sonesta's courtyard is cared for by a full time horticulturist, and boasts a tranquil verdi gris fountain, lush ferns, bromeliads and greenery, palm trees and orange trees.
Three rooms comprise the Fleur de Lis Suite, including the Fleur de Lis A, B, and C along with the Salon. The neutral colors, wall sconces and sparkling chandeliers of the Fleur de Lis Suite provide an elegant glow for all occasions. The size and layout of the adjoining rooms offer a variety of different styles and decor. (The Courtyard and Fleur de Lis Suite are best for events of up to 150 persons.)
