FAQ

  • What is the ratio of child to counselor in Just Us Kids?
Our ratio is 5:1 (If there are kids who require special attention, then the ratio is 3:1)
  • What if our plans change and I need to cancel, is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, if notice of cancellation is given less than 24 hours prior to the camp, 25% of the fee will be charged.
  •  I have a 3 year old who isn’t potty trained yet, can they still attend?
Unfortunately not. We only accept children in the kids club who are fully potty trained and do not wear diapers or training pants.
  • I forgot to put sunscreen on my child before dropping them off at the club, do I need to go back and get some?
No worries, we always make sure we have plenty of sunscreen on hand and our counselors make sure every child is well covered before heading outside.
  • My child is 4 and not a very good swimmer. Will she be alright in the pool?
Yes, as part of our registration process, we inquire about the swimming abilities of the kids. The counselors are in the pool at all times with the kids. We highly recommend packing any floating devices the child may be using.  Our counselors are all First Aid/CPR certified.
  • What happens if my child has food allergies?
We have a place on our registration sheet specifically for food allergies or any medical conditions our counselors need to know about. We can modify any child’s lunch/snack to their dietary needs.
  • Who are the counselors who’ll be watching my child?
They are college students majoring in recreation, sports and fitness. They have First Aid and CPR certifications.
