Accounting

Controller
Provides strategic financial leadership and guidance in all matters relating to the operation of the hotel to assist management’s decision making process. The Controller guides the hotel in analyzing actual and planned operating activities to control costs and capital spending, in alignment with Sonesta’s core principles, while maximizing return on investment. The Controller creates and implements the annual capital and operating budgets designed to increase revenues and profits. The Controller maintains a strong internal control environment, designed to safeguard assets and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reports. Additional responsibilities include: staffing; training; scheduling of employees; planning; organizing; directing and coordinating all department activities to ensure efficient operation. Minimum of 5 to 7 years working in an accounting department of a full service hotel, which includes at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

Banquets

Banquet Server
Prepares function rooms for banquet events; sets tables and place settings. Serves food & beverage to guests during banquets functions. Prior hotel and/or banquets experience required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days nights weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

Banquet Server On-Call
Prepares function rooms for banquet events; sets tables and place settings. Serves food & beverage to guests during banquets functions. Prior hotel and/or banquets experience required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

Beverage

Bartender
Excellent customer service. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to guests. Accurate, efficient mixing of beverages according to standards and portion control. Other related duties. Previous experience as a bartender required. Ability to lift or/and pull up to 40 lbs.

Bistro

AM Server
Server will be responsible to take food & beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficient. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills. Previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

PM Server
We are currently seeking servers that are personable, friendly, motivated, and a team player. Server will be responsible to take food & beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Food and Beverage

Supervisor
Experienced supervisor to assist in leading our team in providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities will include supervising the service team, managing the section assignments for our team members and monitoring seating patterns during the shift. Additional responsibilities will involve training new hires and building the skills of our experienced team members with some administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with supervisory experience in a restaurant setting (1 year) and at least three years' experience as a service provider in a full service restaurant.

Housekeeping

Houseperson
Responsible for keeping all floors clean. Make sure that all room attendants on the floors have sufficient linen. Sort and organize incoming and outgoing laundry. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Prior hotel experience preferred. Detail oriented. Must be able to push and/or lift 60 lbs. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Marketing

Director of Sales & Marketing
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for implementing all marketing programs and activities to support revenue goals including transient rooms, group food and beverage, meeting room rental and local catering, in addition to assisting and actively participating in yield management strategies. This position works closely with the General Manager, Director of Revenue Management, Marketing Manager and sales team to develop marketing plans and strategies. This position requires excellent communication skills - verbal and written a passion for marketing and strategic thinking organizational capabilities and detail orientation. The Director of Sales and Marketing works closely with the Corporate Sales & Marketing Team and is a member of the Executive Committee.

Stewarding

Dishwasher
Previous cleaning experience preferred. Cleans, sanitizes and organizes tableware, pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment. Other related duties. Prior hotel experience preferred. Must be able to push and / or lift up to 70 lbs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
