Accounting

Accounting Clerk
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the Senior Accountant and Controller in maintaining the accounts receivable and assisting with the General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for other functions within the Controller’s Office, including general cashier. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university. Prior experience in similar position in Full Service Luxury Hotel/Resort preferred.

Banquets

Banquet Houseperson
A detail oriented individual with good organization and communication skills required. Will be responsible for the set up of rooms and function areas with as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standards. Previous Banquet set-up experience preferred. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and/or lift 70 lbs.

Bistro

AM Server
Server will be responsible to take food & beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficient. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills. Previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

PM Server
We are currently seeking servers that are personable, friendly, motivated, and a team player. Server will be responsible to take food & beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills. Previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

Engineering

Engineering Mechanic
Able to perform all building maintenance tasks as assigned and all preventative maintenance tasks as required. Answers radio calls and responds to guest room and public area calls in a prompt and professional manner according to standards. Knowledge of HVAC plumbing and electrical systems is also required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and move objects up to 100 lbs.Able to work with kitchen equipment, electrical and plumbing in general. Responds to guest room calls. Assists in hotel security.

Engineering Supervisor
Supervises a shift, project, or any aspect of maintenance/engineering operations which may include scheduling employees, assigning daily work and projects, training and coaching employees, inspecting work for quality and productivity, and initiating corrective and/or disciplinary action as needed. Some college of advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance/and/or construction or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hotel maintenance and supervisory experience preferred. Professional certification and license if required by law.

Front Office

Night Auditor
Accurately balancing all hotel income and expenses for a 24-hour hotel operating period (including but not limited to room revenue, food and beverage revenue, etc.). Completing and transmitting daily management and accounting reports and support documents. Assisting with other front desk related tasks as needed.

Housekeeping

Houseperson
To ensure all housekeeping areas are fully serviced and clean. Also ensure that all assigned public areas, guest corridors, elevator landings are serviced in accordance to Sonesta standards. Assists the room attendants by removing linens, trash from guest rooms and floors. Stocks clean linens on closets.

Pool Attendant
Observes and patrols pool and enforces safety regulations. Engages guests in pleasant conversations, anticipates needs Cleans general pool areas and refills supplies to ensure a spotless esthetically pleasing environment and adequate supplies for our guests. Assists guests as needed, including bringing supplies (towels, etc.). Demonstrates a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.

Room Attendant
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms including bathroom and sleeping area. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Housekeeping experience required. Prior hotel experience preferred. Detail oriented. This person must be able to work flexible schedule with includes days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and/or lift 50 lbs.
