Server will be responsible to take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Duties will include creating a limited menu of beverages table-side. Assist in the maintenance of the lobby lounge area and equipment. Good communication skills required. Previous beverage server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

Banquet Manager

You will join our experienced team and work closely with conference services, catering, culinary and stewarding in managing all aspects of running a quality banquet operation. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with in-house groups to ensure excellent service, providing direction and managing all aspects of the banquet service to ensure high guest satisfaction, arranging all food & beverage details for assigned functions, including linens, table set ups, and decorations, coordinating and supervising the preparation & presentation of buffet set ups, layouts and service of food and beverage, coordinating accurate timing of food delivery to functions, and participating in BEO meetings as assigned. This is an ideal position for an individual with a passion for food and beverage, a high energy level and a desire to succeed. Experience in upscale operations helpful. Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills are necessary. You must demonstrate a track record for success in a fast paced environment. Must have at least three years of banquet management experience.

Culinary

Line Cook
Seasonal May 2015-October 2015 Will manage all aspects of food production for the restaurant and other food and beverage including food preparation. Previous culinary experience in restaurant or hotel kitchen required. Will carry out orders from the line and produce food according to the job specification. Adhere to sanitation practices. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Engineering

Shift Engineer
We are seeking a responsible individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Performs all building maintenance tasks as assigned and all preventative maintenance tasks as required. Answers radio calls and responds to guest room and public area calls in a prompt and professional manner according to standards. Knowledge of HVAC plumbing and electrical systems are also required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and move objects up to 100 lbs.

Front Office

Front Desk Agent
Welcomes and registers hotel guests adhering to established credit policies and procedures. Quotes room, rate and availability for current and future dates. One year customer service experience required. Hotel experience strongly preferred. Great customer service skills. Knowledge of Property Management Systems such as Opera a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Guest Services

Bell person
The successful applicant will have a background with demonstrated excellent customer service skills, knowledge of Boston and Cambridge areas and have a valid Massachusetts driver's license with an outstanding driving record. This position requires that you communicate with guests in a hospitable and upbeat manner. Organizational skills are important to ensure efficient service to our guests. Duties include delivering luggage to guest rooms. Previous hotel experience in a similar quality hotel required. Must be able to push and/or lift 75 lbs. or more. Scheduling flexibility is required with availability covering days, nights, weekends and holidays. This is a part-time position.

Housekeeping

Houseperson
Responsible for keeping all floors clean. Make sure that all room attendants on the floors have sufficient linen. Sort and organize incoming and outgoing laundry. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Prior hotel experience preferred. Detail oriented. Must be able to push and/or lift 60 lbs. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Room Service

Order Taker-Start 03/2015
The Order Taker answers room service telephone and takes guest orders accurately in a helpful, friendly, courteous and professional manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. Up sell sides, desserts and beverages to enhance profitability. Enter orders into computerized system and settles check upon delivery of the order. Process all payments accurately. Handle all of the amenity orders and coordinate delivery with servers. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all service areas. One year Room Service hotel experience and cashier preferred. Must possess good communication skills. Knowledgeable of Point of Sale systems preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
