Sonesta Bee Cave Austin

recreation

You’re minutes from the great outdoors of Texas and from the Live Music Capital of the World. Here’s how you can take full advantage of your stay and take in the best that Bee Cave and Austin have to offer.

Walking and Jogging
Hike the 2.3-mile trail right on our property, or head farther afield to explore some of the region’s wide-open spaces. Visit Hamilton Pool, an historic natural wonder and swimming hole surrounded by limestone cliffs and native plantings. Walk among the 50 acres of Bee Cave’s Central Park. Admire the outdoor work at the Bee Cave Sculpture Park. Or follow the trails of the Falconhead West Primitive Park.

Bicycling
Our reception desk can point you in the right direction to rent a road or trail bike nearby. Then head to one of the parks mentioned above and head to the trails.

Boating
Lake Travis and Lake Austin are located nearby and we can help direct you to boat and jet ski rentals or a chartered excursion.

Zip Lining
Take an 3 hour zip lining excursion across canyons and Lake Travis inlets with Lake Travis Zipline Adventures. We can help schedule your zipline tour!

Swimming
Austin offers several different swimming locations. Cool off in the natural spring fed swimming holes all through out the Austin area.
