Bob Haislip was introduced as General Manager in December, 2013. Previously he was the hotel's Director of Operations, a position he held from the conversion of the hotel in May, 2012. Haislip offers over 30 years of management experience to his new role.
Haislip previously served as director of operations at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA, a 500-acre AAA Four Diamond full service resort, spa, golf club and conference center. His experience includes senior managment roles with Marriott, Omni, Hilton and JQH hotels with property experience at Marriot Marquis NYC, Chateau on the Lake in Branson, and locally with Omni Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Tim Mattos joined the Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore team in 2014. Mattos bring more than 20 years of industry experience to the position. Mattos served as the director of sales and marketing at both the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina and the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, a luxury resort-style California hotel offering extensive amenities including golf, spa and dining. He also served as director of sales and marketing at Hyatt Regency Palm Springs, prior to Newport Beach. Additionally, Mattos spent several years at Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells, CA. Prior to his time with Hyatt, he was with the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage, CA.
Chef Rosado was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico with a strong familial connection and a childhood of valuable experiences with the foundation of food being at the centerpiece of events; Chef Rosado was excited to start a career in food and beverage. Currently, Chef Rosado has been the Executive Chef for the Harbor Court Hotel for 3 years. Previous to his joining the Sonesta Collection, he started his career with passion for culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University. Upon graduation from JWU, he dedicated his time to cultivate his style and view point with InterContinental Hotels from 2001 through 2012 including the InterContinental Boston to open Miel Restaurant.
Based on his earned level of culinary talent and leadership, Chef Rosado relocated to Baltimore to become the Executive Chef at what was then the InterContinental Harbor Court. Chef Rosado has enhanced his knowledge and skill set by becoming a certified in-house organic bee keeper, as well as implementing a productive herb and vegetable garden on the roof top terrace of the hotel which is utilized daily and for VIP events.
The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court will consider requests from media to visit the property located at Baltimore's scenic Inner Harbor. Media visits will be based on availability and evaluation of the assignment. Qualified freelance writers and bloggers must present an official letter of assignment from a recognized and reputable media organization to be considered.
