During the February GHL Management Conference held in Bogotá, the Sonesta Hotel Valledupar received the 2010 Guest Satisfaction Award. This award is given to one hotel managed by GHL at its annual conference. The award is based on responses to guest comment cards offered to each guest at the conclusion of their stay.
General Manager María Fernanda Villabona Hernández shared the award with her team at the hotel upon her return to Valledupar after the conference. (See photo) She expressed her joy and pride that their enthusiasm at work and genuine personal service offered to their guests was reflected in surveys completed by their guests. Throughout 2010, under the guidance of both the general manager and quality coordinator, the hotel team worked hard to achieve guest satisfaction, providing the best possible service and immediately owning and resolving any difficulties that might arise in any area of the hotel.
