The 100th anniversary of the discovery of Machu Picchu by Hiram Bingham will be celebrated this July with events held all over Cusco - the ancient Inca´s metropolis. Events will include celebrations, concerts, festivals and more. Machu Picchu is an Inca city built between the years 1400 to 1500. It is considered to be one of the most important architectural and archeological jewels of the Incas.
