Fleur De Lis Suite and Tropical Courtyard
For centuries, courtyards have been among the most important aspects of any French Quarter property, as the architecture of the neighborhood prevents traditional lawns and gardens. To compensate, property owners dedicated a special part of their homes to become their private oasis where they could show off their green thumbs. The Royal Sonesta's courtyard is cared for by a full time horticulturists, and boasts a tranquil verdi gris fountain, lush ferns, bromeliads and greenery, 2 palm trees, and 4 orange trees.

The size and layout of the adjoining rooms offer a variety of different styles and decor. (The Courtyard and Fleur De Lis Salon is best for events of up to 150 persons.)
