MAHO, St. Maarten (February 20, 2013) - The Maagical Maho Street Fair continues with all the fun, excitement, great Caribbean music and food Friday evening in Maho Village, the entertainment and hospitality hub of St. Maarten, on Friday, February 22.
The Valentine's Day special edition of the street fair was nothing short of a "maagical" experience for island residents and visitors. Merchants plied them with samples of locally made food and drinks. Artisans and crafters display an array for "made in St. Maarten" items, perfect as unique souvenirs and keepsakes.
Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino invites residents and visitors to again share in the festive atmosphere of the street fair and to bring along the entire family. The street fair is designed to be fun and maagical with something for everyone, from jovial clowns to freshly spun cotton candy.
And, let's not forget one of the key ingredients - music. Local artistes will fill the air with St. Maarten's blend of classic Caribbean and contemporary tunes.
Maagical Maho will also be presented on March 1 and March 8.
The Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino, with its all-inclusive meals, drinks, kid's club and scheduled activities program, is a "destination within a destination,” offering exciting nightlife, a variety of accommodations and first-rate amenities for singles, couples, and families.
The property is conveniently located on the island's southwest shore just minutes from the airport, and features a large pool area with swim-up pool bar, cascading waterfalls, a second quiet pool area and oceanfront wedding gazebo.
Five restaurants and five bars, fitness center, four tennis courts, nightclub, and more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space increase the amenities options at the resort. Other amenities, such as The Maho Serenity Spa, Casino Royale, and tours and excursions are available for an additional fee.
