Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order. Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation. Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, glassware, and flatware.
Banquets Set Up/Houseperson
Set up designated function rooms to group's requirements in accordance with hotel standards. Maintain cleanliness and working condition of all respective equipment, guest and service areas. Must have good understanding of the English language. Able to provide excellent customer service, perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, accuracy and with minimal supervision. High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate preferred.
Responsible for preparing all food items in accordance with the Sonesta standards. Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste. Previous experience required in a free standing hotel or restaurant.
Responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work. Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis. Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all-building equipment and rooms. Complete other special projects assigned periodically by the Director and/or Chief Engineer.

Full Time and On-Call Positions available Serve food for the customer in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments are a plus. Also, must have at least one year serving experience. Must also meet state and county legal age requirements. Must speak fluent English.
Front Desk Agent
Welcomes and registers guests adhering to established credit policies and procedures. Quotes room, rate and availability for current and future dates. One year customer service experience required. Hotel experience, strongly preferred. Great customer service skills. Knowledge of Property Management Systems such as Opera, a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
The qualified candidate is required to provide exceptional guest service which is achieved by cleaning and preparing guest rooms for occupancy. This candidate should provide personal service by greeting guests and assisting them as needed. Must demonstrate the housekeeping and Sonesta guest standards. Responsible for properly using the chemicals needed to clean ad prepare guest rooms. Must be knowledgeable of guest rooms and report maintenance problems and concerns immediately. Must be able to clean approximately seventeen rooms within eight hours while meeting the Sonesta standards. Other duties as needed. Housekeeping experience required. Experience at a comparable hotel is preferred.
Monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms and public areas. Submit to engineering & management work orders for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space. Maintains cost control systems for linen inventories and cleaning supplies. Maintains productivity and labor cost goals. Assists Director of Housekeeping in supervising housekeeping staff. Other related duties. Minimum 2-3 years of hotel housekeeping experience. Experience with payroll, scheduling and training employees. Excellent verbal and written skills required. English required, bilingual preferred.
Director of Revenue Management
The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for optimizing transient and group room revenue by developing and implementing effective inventory management and pricing strategies. Analyze reports to understand future demand forecast and past trends to translate this information to set/adjust strategies leading to increased market share. In addition this position nurtures and develops the top transient accounts for the hotel.
Director of Sales & Marketing
•Work closely with the sales and catering team towards achievement of aggressive annual goals for production and consumption. •Produce Sales and Marketing plan for the entire resort including rooms, catering, food and beverage outlets. •Works with General Manager, DORM and Operations team to develop and execute revenue management strategies to maximize revenues with an eye on raising ADR and profitability of the business. •Works closely with the corporate functional leaders to ensure that Sonesta Gwinnett Place-Atlanta (SGPA) property is maximizing sales and marketing opportunities that require Sonesta corporate support including but not limited to: SEO, PPC, Direct Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations. •Ensures that the sales team is properly deployed, is working the correct market segments, participates in the right trade shows and corporate supported GSO missions. •Develops and approves sales and catering team annual goals, and reviews and revises the goals as needed midyear. •Directly works with the corporate sales and marketing team to develop strategies for public relations, advertising, marketing/sales providers with responsibility for managing the plans set forth and approved. •Serves as property liaison with Sonesta corporate office and property senior leadership team on any and all issues related to revenues. •Develops strong community relationships with the CVB, destination counsel and visitor bureaus. •Works with the corporate sales and marketing team to develop promotions and supports and utilizes corporate promotions to improve revenue results for the property. •Works with the DORM to determine pricing, special transient offers and to identify new channels and opportunities for revenue development. •Works closely with the GSO to ensure that leads are responded to on a timely basis that Sonesta Gwinnett Place-Atlanta is properly positioned with the GSO customers and that SHCG is receiving fair share of leads and opportunities. •Supports the Key Account Management (KAM) program and actively engages with the designated trainer, By Design to ensure that the SGPA sales and catering team are driving revenues through adoption of this program. •Develops aggressive goals for the sales and catering team. •Manages the hotels’ sales incentive program.

Catering Sales Manager
The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for social food & beverage events to include weddings, rehearsal dinners, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, annual fundraisers, holiday parties, international events, family celebrations, proms, etc. Strong communication skills, organization skills, account management and contract negotiations with decision makers is needed for cultivation and development of short/long term business. Ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning and committed to educating themselves on current food & beverage trends in a banquet setting. Responsible for drafting proposals, menu planning, agenda setting and arranging hotel event services. Duties include negotiating food and beverage minimums as outlined within hotel guidelines, preparation of contracts and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure the highest level of service. Required to be in attendance at social events in coordination with banquet team to ensure the event goes as planned.
Group Sales Manager
The Group Sales Manager is a key sales position, specializing in Corporate Group Sales. In this role, the individual will actively solicit new business. The Group Sales Manager is responsible for fostering relationships with meeting planners and contacts within the local markets in order to meet or exceed revenue goals.
