Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order. Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation. Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, glassware, and flatware.
Responsible for preparing all food items in accordance with the Sonesta standards. Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste. Previous experience required in a free standing hotel or restaurant.
Responsible for all aspects of supervising the kitchen and kitchen personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling / storage of all food items in accordance with standards. Has a minimum of 5 years experience as lead cook, and/or 2 years as kitchen supervisor. Ability to work all stations in kitchen, possesses excellent communication skills (written and oral), able to compute basic mathematical calculations and has a working knowledge of food cost and controls.

Cocktail Server is a member of the Food and Beverage team that assists in ensuring that Sonesta's customer service and beverage standards are met. Hospitable, welcoming, and friendly guest service are essential requirements of the position. Must be flexible with shifts. Previous serving and drink knowledge a must. Requirements include: basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations and etiquette; knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items; basic English language communication skills; and the ability to carry large, heavy trays on a continuous basis throughout the shift; must demonstrate the a guest oriented and friendly demeanor.
Food and Beverage
Responsible for; providing prompt, efficient, courteous, professional food and beverage service; pre-meal set up and post meal clean up; ensuring that all guests needs are met and that their expectations are exceeded.
Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms. Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all hotel services and features. Responsible for attending to immediate needs of each guest upon arrival and follow through attention throughout stay. Display thorough knowledge of all hotel amenities as well as local attractions. The Bellperson is also responsible for transporting guests to their desired locations within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Must possess a current drivers license with a clean driving record.

The Front Desk Agent is a member of the Front Office team. S/he are responsible for: maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. Catering Sales Manager
The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for social food & beverage events to include weddings, rehearsal dinners, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, annual fundraisers, holiday parties, international events, family celebrations, proms, etc. Strong communication skills, organization skills, account management and contract negotiations with decision makers is needed for cultivation and development of short/long term business. Ideal candidate will be passionate about event planning and committed to educating themselves on current food & beverage trends in a banquet setting. Responsible for drafting proposals, menu planning, agenda setting and arranging hotel event services. Duties include negotiating food and beverage minimums as outlined within hotel guidelines, preparation of contracts and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure the highest level of service. Required to be in attendance at social events in coordination with banquet team to ensure the event goes as planned.
Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Lock property entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
