Summer Fest 2013

The Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston is the place to be this summer in New England. Summer Fest, our annual salute to summer kicks off Memorial Day weekend and lasts through Labor Day weekend featuring activities that are fun for the whole family.  The adventure begins with complimentary iced tea and lemonade with fresh baked cookies in the lobby and children are greeted with a coloring book and scavenger hunt upon check-in. From there the possibilities are endless from kid’s culinary cooking classes to scenic boat tours along the Charles River. 
 
Summer Fest invites you to take advantage of the beautiful Boston weather with even more outdoor activities this year! 
 
Complimentary scenic boat rides available on the riverboats of the Charles River Boat Company, departing every hour and fifteen minutes from the canal beside the hotel.
 
Complimentary bicycles are provided for use along the Esplanade bike paths surrounding the river, immediately in the hotel's backyard.
 
Complimentary indoor/outdoor atrium-style swimming pool and sundeck - with Saturday family movie night at the pool - fresh popcorn provided!
 
Complimentary running concierge offered Wednesday evening for a guided 4 mile run around the river.

Complimentary yoga session on Saturday mornings. 
 
A Sunday morning cooking class is offered for kids 6+.
 
ArtBar boasts one of the best patios in Boston and will feature Lobster Night on Friday evenings and $1 Oysters on Saturday. 
 
New this year – ArtBar will be offering poolside service for families to enjoy a meal while relaxing on the sun deck or by our atrium-style pool.
 
Children receive complimentary coloring book at check-in and a scavenger hunt that leads them on a fun tour of the hotel with a prize waiting for them at the end. 
 
For the child in all of us, complimentary iced tea and lemonade is available with fresh baked cookies in the lobby.

Summer weekend packages begin at $229 per night per family and are available Thursday - Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day (May 25 – September 8, 2013), subject to availability.  For $30 more you can guarantee a river view guest room.
