Sonesta Announces New General Manager at the Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation today announced the appointment of Jordan Cooper as General Manager at the 445-room Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia.  With over 20 years of experience in hospitality management, Cooper brings new leadership to the hotel team and to the market repositioning of this Center City hotel.
 
“Jordan Cooper’s knowledge of the Philadelphia market and his extensive experience rebranding upscale hotels makes him an ideal general manager for the hotel,” said Sonesta President Stephanie Sonnabend. Sonnabend continued, “We expect Jordan’s leadership will be instrumental in positioning the Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia as a market leader.”

Cooper was most recently general manager at the Wyndham Hotel in downtown Chicago. His extensive experience includes General Manager positions with Hilton, Millennium, Doubletree, and Marriott; including the Warwick Hotel & Towers and Crowne Plaza Cherry Hill in the Philadelphia market.
