Lunch Is Served At Restaurant R’evolution In The French Quarter
Award-Winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto Unveil an Inspired Luncheon Menu
One of the most highly anticipated restaurants to open in the Crescent City in recent history, Restaurant R’evolution, is pleased to announce daily lunch service. Beginning Monday, August 13th, locals and visitors have a wonderful new reason to venture down to the French Quarter Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Executive Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto have created a lunch menu that contains some of the same signature dishes that are featured on Restaurant R’evolution’s extensive dinner menu. For Starters, there’s Death by Gumbo, Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup or the ethereal Corn and Crab Cappuccino. Appetizers are perfect for sharing with friends and colleagues or the ideal choice if you desire to keep it light and save room for the main course.
Selections from the Big Salad section of the menu feature entrée-sized portions of a Cajun-fried Oyster Salad or Chef’s re-creation of a local traditional Muffuletta Salad with Prosciutto, Salami, Mortadella, Provolone and Olives.
Then there are the standard sandwich interpretations that are anything but: the R’evolution Burger with Mountain Gorgonzola, Grilled Onions, Oven-dried Tomatoes, Arugula, Aïoli, Smoked Tomato Ketchup and Fried Egg or how about a Crabmeat Grilled Cheese on Brioche with Fontina, White Cheddar and Gruyère. Having trouble deciding on which sandwich, then the Triptych of Pistolette Sliders with Gulf Shrimp, Oysters and Beef Debris is for you.
For the main course there are Restaurant R’evolution pastas, which are freshly made in-house daily with selections that are offered in two size portions. Try the Linguine and Manila Clams with Garlic, Scallions, Thyme and Chile Oil or the Tajarin with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat with Ribbon Pasta, Saffron, Leeks and Tomatoes. Then there’s Chefs’ version of BBQ Gulf Shrimp and Grits or the delightful Grilled Striped Bass. Carnivorous cravings will be satisfied with R’evolution’s 6-oz. Filet Mignon or 14-oz. Prime Eye of Rib Eye. Then there’s Pork and Beans, a Braised Pork Shank, Macque Choux Crepes, Baked Beans with a Root Beer Barbeque. Absolutely divine! Sides may include Creole Cream Cheese Potatoes, Smothered Greens or Corn Macque Choux Pudding. The choices are endless.
Starters range in price from $6 to $20, hearty sandwiches average around $15, and entrées are between $14 for an entrée-sized big salad to $50 for the Rib Eye. Sides are offered a la carte. For your convenience, valet parking is available for $10 at the restaurant’s main entrance located at 777 Bienville Street.
Restaurant R’evolution opened to the public in June of 2012.
