Speaker's Announced for Round Table Luncheon

This month’s Round Table Luncheon takes place on Wednesday September 14 at 12:00 Noon in the Royal Sonesta Hotel’s newly renovated Fleur de Lis Suite. Hosted by social columnist Margarita ”Darling” Bergen, the luncheon will feature guest speakers, live entertainment, delicious cuisine, and of course plenty of champagne, Darlings.

September’s Round Table will present a “Salute to the Cultural Arts” inviting leading representatives from the arts community to discuss their upcoming season. Featured speakers include Cynthia LeBreton, Vice Chair of the New Orleans Ballet Association; Miranda Lash, Curator at the New Orleans Museum of Art; Maestro Robert Lyall and Timothy Todd Simmons of the New Orleans Opera Association; and Angela Shepard, Development Associate at the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Becky Allen, Gambit Weekly’s 2011 “Best Local Theater Performer,” and pianist Jim Walpole will provide live entertainment.

Executive Chef Peter Page is planning a three-course gourmet menu with wine pairing. Delicious entrée selections include the Grilled Gulf Swordfish with Tarragon Infusion or the Pork Tenderloin Paillard with Brulee of Apple and Aged White Cheddar Galette.
