Curtis J. Crider
General Manager
Curtis Crider accepted the position of General Manager in October, 2008.
Crider began with Sonesta seventeen years ago, while a student at Florida State University when he started working at the Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne as a Banquet and Outlet Bartender during the summer, spring break and holidays. Upon graduation with a degree in Business Administration, Crider accepted the position of Head Bartender at the resort. A year later, Crider assumed the role of Beverage Manager overseeing five outlet bars and banquet functions. In 1999, Sonesta promoted Crider to the position of Assistant Food & Beverage Director overseeing the food and beverage operation at the resort. By 2006, he was named Resident Manager. When the resort closed for renovation late in 2006, Sonesta offered him the position of Resident Manager at their sister property - Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut Grove where he now serves as General Manager.
Svetlana Hristova
Director of Business Development
Svetlana Hristova was named Director of Business Development in November, 2009. Prior to this role she was the Director of Revenue Management. Ms. Hristova was instrumental in repositioning the hotel with a new ad campaign and reintroduction of Panorama Restaurant & Sky Lounge. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria. She was Hotel Manager for Golden Anchor Hotel and Golden Sands Resort in Varna. Prior to joining Sonesta, she was the Director of Revenue for Ocean Point Resort & Spa in Sunny Isles, Florida.
Christopher Cramer
Executive Chef
Christopher Cramer was named executive Chef at Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut Grove in February of 2004. In this role, Chef Cramer oversees all food and beverage operations at the hotel, including the restaurant, banquet meals and room service. Prior to joining Sonesta, Chef Cramer was most recently the Executive Chef at the Radisson Kendall Hotel & Suites. Chef Cramer is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and traveled extensively in Perú, studying its culinary traditions and working with some of the country's most famous chefs.
