Accounts Payable Clerk
High School degree or equivalent. Minimum one year of accounts payable experience. Previous hotel experience preferred. Good computer skills. English required.
Line Cook 1
Prepare and cook food with attention to cleanliness and sanitation, quality standards, taste, timeliness and cost effectiveness with respect for fellow cooks and the hotel environment. Minimum 3 years experience required as well as culinary education. Demonstrate knowledge of all cooking techniques. High volume, high quality cooking experience. Must be able to communicate in English & supervise Line Cook 2, 3 and Stewards.
Line Cook 3
Responsible for full set up and preparation of hot food items for restaurants. Assists Restaurant Chef with organization and sanitation of main kitchen including walk-ins & freezers. Control quality and consistency of all food served. Insure that station or relevant prep list is set in a timely manner. Assists in controlling food costs. Demonstrates knowledge of all food items produced by an assigned station. Handles and stores food properly and safely. Produce all orders consistently, quickly, and in accordance with established quality standards. Demonstrates safe and competent use of all tools: knives, pots, pans, stoves, ovens, grills, slickers, steamers, etc. Demonstrates knowledge of all basic techniques: sauté, braise, poach, grill poele, fry, steam, etc. Dress in the full appropriate uniform at all times. Respect scheduled hours of work and have all exceptions to these scheduled hours approved by a manager. Demonstrate respect for fellow associates, equipment, and customers. Helps assist in other areas of kitchen when not busy.
Front Desk Agent
Welcomes and registers hotel guests adhering to established credit policies and procedures. Check in and out hotel guests, as well as assist with any requests such as directions, restaurant recommendation, reservations, etc. Quotes room and rate availability for current and future dates. Assist with the answering of hotel’s switchboard and directs caller appropriately. Must have a minimum of 1 year customer service experience required, preferably with hotels. Flexible schedule and English required.
Front Desk Supervisor
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Performs all duties related to checking in and checking out of guests. Conduct pre-shift meetings with all guest service staff daily. Supervises the front desk agents to ensure that their performance is up to Sonesta Service Standards. Delegates tasks to clerks as needed. Checks front desk work for consistency and accuracy and handles any problems that may arise. Oversees the completion of all guest service checklists. Verifies all house accounts and investigates all room discrepancies. Communicate all pertinent information to manager/supervisor for following shift.
Monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms and public areas. Submit to engineering & management work orders for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space. Maintains cost control systems for linen inventories and cleaning supplies. Maintains productivity and labor cost goals. Assists Director of Housekeeping in supervising housekeeping staff. Other related duties. Minimum 2-3 years of hotel housekeeping experience. Must posses at least 1 year of management experience. Experience with payroll, scheduling and training employees. Excellent verbal and written skills required. English required, bilingual preferred.

Housekeeping experience and prior hotel experience are preferred. Detail oriented. Must be able to push, pull and/or lift 40 lbs. Must be able to communicate in English with guests and employees.

Director of Sales & Marketing
Reporting to the hotel’s General Manager and is a member of the hotel’s executive committee, the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) has overall responsibility for the development and execution of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy for all revenue generating areas of the hotel. The DOSM is responsible for setting the direction for the hotel’s sales and marketing team and for overseeing the successful execution of strategic and tactical plans for sales and marketing including but not limited to advertising, public relations, social media, direct sales. Success in this role is largely dependent on the DOSM’s ability to assess the competitive landscape to properly reposition this hotel. A key factor in measuring the success of the repositioning will be the DOSM’s ability to drive higher rated business to be measured through a higher blended ADR and RevPar growth. The DOSM will be responsible for working closely with the hotel executive team and corporate management team to develop the marketing and sales plans. The DOSM will need to be able to successfully determine, marshal and maximize both the property and corporate resources to support the repositioning of the property.
