Information We Collect
In general, you can visit Sonesta websites without revealing any personal information about yourself. When submitting a "Book A Meeting" request, "Virtual Concierge" request, making a reservation or subscribing to our electronic newsletters, we ask that you provide information such as name, address, hotels of interest, e-mail address, telephone, etc. It is your choice whether or not to provide the information however, if you do not, you may not be able to complete the desired transaction.

Website Analysis
Like many companies, we analyze the usage of the websites in order to improve the user experience on the sites. In some instances, we use cookies and/or collect IP addresses to determine trends, frequency of visits, pages most visited, etc. The cookies and IP address do not personally identify you and we do not use them to link your personal information such as name, address, etc

Security
We use sophisticated tools to protect the security of your transactions on our websites. When making a reservation, submitting credit card information on our Virtual Concierge, etc. we use software which encrypts the information you input. This software uses "Secure Sockets Layer" (SSL) technology however, like on all websites, data transmission cannot be guaranteed 100% secure, therefore we cannot warrant or guarantee the security of information you transmit to or from our websites. We will do our best to protect your information on our systems.

Protecting Children
Sonesta websites are intended for general audiences. Anyone under the age of 13 should not register with us and, without their parent's consent, we will not send e-mail to anyone who tells us they are under the age of 13.

At times our privacy policy may be changed and any updates will be posted to this site. Any changes that are made will go into effect when posted on the site and they will apply to all past and current users of the sites. This policy was posted in February 2007.
