ArtBar serves refined comfort food in a warm, intimate retreat for food and art lovers. The restaurant features innovative, refined, seasonal New England cuisine, with a menu designed for discovery along with specialty cocktails and a well-curated wine list offering an exciting collection available by the bottle or glass. Located inside the Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston, the interior boasts spectacular selections from the hotel’s world-class art collection. The autumn seasonal menu starts with Wards Berry Farm sugar pumpkins with micro greens and molasses aioli; lobster corn dogs with housemade mustard; and Georges Bank Scallops and crispy North Country pork belly with pepper caramel sauce. Entrees feature grilled Atlantic salmon with pomegranate glaze, quinoa with toasted pecans and carrot puree; Organic chicken breast with whiskey fennel sausage stuffing, sweet potato hash and Carlson Orchards cider jus; and housemade cavatelli, broccoli rabe, grilled pumpkin, sage brown butter, shaved Ayer cheese. The fall cocktail menu includes a Harvest Smash (Bulleit Rye, Fresh Harvest Puree, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup) and a Smokey Apple Martini (Chivas Regal, Granny Smith Simple Syrup, Lemon Juice). The restaurant also features daily desserts created by its on-site pastry team.
“We wanted the menu to be approachable with a reinterpretation of comfort foods we all recognize,” said Chef de Cuisine Stephen Hamilton. “Our new brunch offers a buffet or a la carte option depending on what guests are in the mood for – it spans from a simple beet salad with fresh blue cheese to crispy pork belly with black pepper caramel, or a lobster omelet with asparagus and cheese.”
ArtBar offers an award winning riverfront patio experience in the city. The comfortable outdoor space offers street level garden-style dining overlooking the Charles River and Boston skyline. The restaurant offers brunch on the weekends until 3 p.m. The buffet is priced at $39 including two a la carte entrées, displayed buffet items and $1 sparkling wine. The menu features Deviled Egg Trio with a Crème Fraiche-Caviar, a Bacon-Chive, and a Sugar Corn-Paprika; Cinnamon Challah French Toast with Candied Pecans; and Steak Benedict with Pineland Farms Sirloin, Baby Spinach, Chive Hollandaise all served with fresh Starbucks coffee. Menu items included are available through the end of the fall season (mid-December). ArtBar is open weekdays for breakfast, lunch and dinner; and weekends for brunch and dinner. The Patio at ArtBar is open daily weather permitting, Memorial Day through October.
