Breakfast Attendant/Server-Seasonal
Responsible for set up and subsequent breakdown of the breakfast display. Ensures full display of breakfast bakeries. Makes coffee to order and accurately posts guest transactions. Take food & beverage orders, serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficient. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills and previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs. This is a seasonal postion from May through September.

Seasonal Food Runner
Good communication skills. Food knowledge and service experience preferred. Must be able to carry food up and down the stairs. Responsible for freshness of product and upkeep to include but not limited to re-stocking and floor maintenance. To assist servers with delivery of ready to eat food and essential pairings or accompaniments. To assist and maintain work areas in both Front and Back of House. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and/or lift 40 lbs. Seasonal position April through September.

Seasonal Server
Server will be responsible to take food & beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficient. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills. Previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs. This is a seasonal position. Seasonal position is from April through September only.

Banquets

Assistant Banquet Director
We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, career-minded food and beverage professional to join our banquet management team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food and beverage and committed to service excellence. You will join our experienced team and work closely with conference services, catering, culinary and stewarding in managing all aspects of running a quality banquet operation. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with in-house groups to ensure excellent service, providing direction and managing all aspects of the banquet service to ensure high guest satisfaction, arranging all food & beverage details for assigned functions, including linens, table set ups, and decorations, coordinating and supervising the preparation & presentation of buffet set ups, layouts and service of food and beverage, coordinating accurate timing of food delivery to functions, and participating in BEO meetings as assigned. This is an ideal position for an individual with a passion for food and beverage, a high energy level and a desire to succeed. Experience in upscale operations helpful. Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills are necessary. You must demonstrate a track record for success in a fast paced environment. Must have at least three years of banquet management experience.

Banquet Porter-start date 3/15/14
A detail oriented individual with good organization and communication skills required. Will be responsible for the set up of rooms and function areas with as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standards. Previous Banquet set-up experience preferred. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and/or lift 70 lbs. Part time position

Barback
Stock ice assist bartender in preparing garnishes and mixes. Upkeep of the glassware and paper supplies in bars. Inspects cleanliness and condition of bar and service areas; rectify any deficiencies. Other related duties. High school degree or equivalent. Must be able to push and/or lift 40 lbs.

On Call Banquet Servers
Prepares function rooms for banquet events; sets tables and place settings. Serves food and beverage to guests during banquets functions. Prior hotel and/or banquets experience required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs.

Beverage

Bartender-On-Call start date 3/1/14
Excellent customer service. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to guests. Accurate, efficient mixing of beverages according to standards and portion control. Other related duties. Previous experience as a bartender required. Ability to lift or/and pull up to 40 lbs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Culinary

Pastry Cook
Pastry Cook will primarily be responsible for preparation of desserts for the ArtBar restaurant and room service. This person ensures that proper rotation, storage temperatures, storing procedures and sanitation practices are observed. Two years of previous pastry production experience required. Culinary degree or related hotel/restaurant experience is preferred. Our ideal candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays. Schedule is primarily 3:00PM-11:00PM with availability to work other shifts as required.

Engineering

Facilities Coordinator-part time
Performs general office administrative duties in the Engineering Office including but not limited to typing, filing, purchase requests, inventory control, receiving, dispatching, and computer work as required. Daily programming of function room thermostats. Coordinating daily preventive maintenance. Minimum 1 year of repairs & maintenance experience preferred. Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Front Office

Front Desk Agent
Welcomes and registers hotel guests adhering to established credit policies and procedures. Quotes room, rate and availability for current and future dates. One year customer service experience required. Hotel experience strongly preferred. Great customer service skills. Knowledge of Property Management Systems such as Opera a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Front Desk Manager
Provides exceptional levels of guest service throughout guests' stay, respond to emergency codes, implement and train staff on new procedures, ensure that all front office quality standards are adhered to, increase communication levels within the hotel both with other departments as well as guests to ensure satisfaction. Supervises the front desk agents in their daily activities and assures a good guest experience. Excellent guest communication and guest service skills. Previous Front Office customer service supervisory experience preferred. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Guest Services

Concierge
Great customer service skills. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services shopping dining entertainment and travel directions. Thorough knowledge of the Boston and Cambridge area entertainment and attractions required. Previous hotel experience required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Security

Security Officer On-Call
Patrols hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets. Answers house calls and assists guests and employees with safety, security and hotel operations. Assists in checking alarm systems, safety and fire equipment systems and closely monitoring security of building doors, service areas and delivery areas. One year experience in same or similar role required. Previous hotel experience preferred. Good oral & written communication skills. This is an on-call position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule mainly overnights, weekends and holidays.
