Seasonal Bartender
Good communication skills. Seasonal Breakfast Attendant/Server
Responsible for set up and subsequent breakdown of the breakfast display. Ensures full display of breakfast bakeries. Makes coffee to order and accurately posts guest transactions. Take food & beverage orders, serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficient. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills and previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs. This is a seasonal postion from May through September.
Seasonal Host/ess
Good communication skills and excellent customer service required. Courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating, ensuring hotel’s standards of service. Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintain the cleanliness of the room at all times. Assist in monitoring guest needs and all phases of the operation. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and holidays. Seasonal position from May through September only.
Seasonal Server
Server will be responsible to take food & beverage orders, retrieve and serve orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficient. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Good communication skills. Previous food server experience is required. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and / or lift 40 lbs. This is a seasonal position. Seasonal position is from April through September only.
Banquet Server- On Call
Prepares function rooms for banquet events; sets tables and place settings. Serves food & beverage to guests during banquets functions. Prior hotel and/or banquets experience required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and/or lift 40 lbs.
Front Desk Agent
Welcomes and registers hotel guests adhering to established credit policies and procedures. Quotes room, rate and availability for current and future dates. One year customer service experience required. Hotel experience strongly preferred. Great customer service skills. Knowledge of Property Management Systems such as Opera a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Senior Front Office Manager
This position works closely with the Director of Front Office Operations and Front Office Managers to lead the Front Office team in providing excellent service to our guests. Must have demonstrated experience in providing exceptional service to hotel guests. Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role in a similar hotel. Excellent computer skills. Experience with Opera Property Management System. Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting. Multi task oriented. English required.
Housekeeping Supervisor
This position manages the operations of the housekeeping area of the hotel to ensure product quality standards are met and hotel guest rooms, public spaces, and all other areas of the hotel are clean and well maintained. This person monitors the status of room condition and availability, submitting prompt and accurate reports to the front desk and housekeeping office. This position is required to write maintenance requests and follow up to ensure that they have been completed and to monitor the adherence of all housekeeping procedures and hotel rules Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping in a similar position in a luxury hotel.
Houseperson
Responsible for keeping all floors clean. Make sure that all room attendants on the floors have sufficient linen. Sort and organize incoming and outgoing laundry. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Prior hotel experience preferred. Detail oriented. Must be able to push and/or lift 60 lbs. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Room Attendant
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms including bathrooms and making beds. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Housekeeping experience required. Prior hotel experience preferred. Detail oriented. This person must be able to work flexible schedule with includes days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to push and/or lift 50 lbs. This is a seasonal positions through November.
Human Resources Manager
As Human Resources Manager, you will partner with the Director of Human Resources providing support, consultation, coaching, direction and advice on human resource related and culture topics. Manage all human resource policies and activities with a focus on staffing and employee relations. Hotel experience required.
Demonstrated track record as business partner, strategic thinking, coaching, innovation, flexibility in dealing with change, results-oriented and strong communication skills. Five years HR generalist experience with two years in significant HR leadership roles. College degree or equivalent in experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

In Room Dining Manager
Responsible for the management of all aspects of Room Service functions, in accordance with hotel standards. Direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff. Ensure high quality service for our guests. Work closely with culinary team to ensure high quality food product is provided for our guests. Must have prior food and beverage management experience with a high preference given to candidates with hotel food and beverage experience.
In Room Dining Server
Delivers In Room Dining orders according to standards for appearance, quality and time. Organizes, coordinates and assists staff in set-up, delivery and retrieval of amenities in accordance with departmental standards. Ensures that all tables/trays are removed from guest rooms/corridors and returned to Room Service. Answers phones and takes room service orders. Conducts guest call backs to ensure guest satisfaction. Other related duties.
One year Room Service hotel & cashier experience preferred. Able to push or lift up to 40 lbs. Customer service and/or operator experience. Must possess good computer and communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Shifts include 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Communications and Media Relations Manager
The Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston is currently hiring a Communications and Media Relations Manager. Duties include management of the hotel’s website, social media, public relations, online reputation, Internet marketing, internal communications, promotional events, and community relations. You will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and other members of the Executive team to develop strategies to achieve the Hotel’s marketing and revenue goals.
This is an ideal position for an individual who is excited by and has a thorough understanding of the importance of the role social networking and online communities play in engaging today’s guests. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, creative thinker and should understand the importance of consistent monitoring and response time required to have the greatest impact from social media. We need a person with top-notch communication and relationship building skills and a track record for success in a fast paced environment in order to keep up with multiple projects, emerging media trends as well as industry trends.
