Dog Policy

Welcome to the small dog-friendly Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore. We understand the importance of accommodations that cater to both you and your small canine friend.

The hotel can only accommodate small dogs of less than 40 pounds each (2 maximum allowed). We do not allow cats, birds, ferrets, or any other pets - only small dogs.

When traveling with your small dog, we want to ensure a safe, comfortable stay for you and your fellow guests. As a courtesy to all hotel guests, we ask that the following guidelines be observed:

Dog Policy:

  • $150 non-refundable cleaning fee per pet (includes accommodation and cleaning fee)
  • Dog must weigh no more than 40 pounds. Max 2 pets per room.
  • Dog must comply with local legislation requirements.
  • Dog must be kept on leash when in the hotel, or on hotel property unless it is in the guest's room.
  • Dog must not be left unattended. If guest requires a pet-sitter or pet supplies, please contact the concierge with advance notice.
  • Dog is not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, health club or pool area of the hotel. This rule does not apply to certified and documented guide dogs.
  • Dog must not be allowed to dig, whine, bark, or relieve themselves in the room, garden or public areas.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog when in the neighborhood. Stop and scoop by law applies in the city of Baltimore.
  • Dogs are not allowed to disturb or intimidate others. Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • Guests should contact our Instant Service line to arrange for a convenient time for housekeeping to service their room.
  • Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their dog.
  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's dog.
  • The hotel reserves the right to charge guest's accounts commensurate to the cost of damages. Please note that any hotel expenses/damages incurred, including compensation of other guests due to disturbances or inconvenience caused by the dog, are subject to compensation.
